My Projects

A selection of projects I’ve worked on, highlighting my approach to design and problem-solving.

Around the table

A project for Two Ace Solutions. A minimal, capacity-aware reservation and ticketing interface designed to reduce friction in a high-traffic live music venue.

Context

  • Purple Haze is a high-traffic rock bar in Kathmandu hosting frequent live music events.

  • Peak hours require fast, clear coordination of table reservations and event entry.

Problems

  • Table reservations and ticketing were handled manually with limited visibility for guests.

  • Users had no clear understanding of table availability or suitability for group size.

  • Staff managed bookings under pressure, increasing the risk of errors during busy nights.

Solutions

  • .Designed and built Around The Table, a minimal web-based reservation and event ticketing interface tailored for a high-traffic live music venue.
  • Implemented a step-based booking flow with a visual layout of 25 tables, capacity-aware selection, and clear availability states to reduce booking errors and decision friction.
  • Integrated a centralized events and ticketing experience with streamlined checkout, supported by a clean, component-driven frontend and clear state management for predictable interactions.

Impact

  • Designed and developed a restaurant reservation platform serving 150+ daily customers and processing 300+ weekly bookings.

  • Improved reservation efficiency by 40% through intuitive UX design and streamlined booking workflows.
  • Conducted usability testing with 25+ users, iterating designs to increase task completion.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver the project two weeks ahead of schedule.

Call & Craft

A project for Two Ace Solutions. Designed for people who just want it done.

Context

  • Finding reliable local service professionals is often stressful and time-sensitive.
  • Many existing platforms feel cluttered, slow, or unintuitive.
  • Call & Craft explores how strong UI/UX can simplify everyday service bookings.

Problems

  • Users struggle to trust providers due to unclear information and weak visual hierarchy.
  • Booking flows are often fragmented and unnecessarily long.
  • Poor mobile UX and accessibility make urgent bookings frustrating.

Solutions

  • Designed a clear, step-by-step booking flow that reduces friction and cognitive load.
  • Built trust through clean provider profiles, ratings, and availability at a glance.
  • Combined a scrapbook-inspired aesthetic with high readability, responsiveness, and light/dark mode.

Impacts

  • 3-step booking flow designed for sub-60-second completion.
  • Reduced interaction steps and page transitions.
  • Above-the-fold trust signals to improve scan speed.
  • Mobile-first layouts with accessible tap targets.
  • Progressive disclosure to support higher completion

DAncing my blues away

A project for madcap Designs. Work I chose to do, not because I had to, but because it felt right. For people and the community I love.

Context

Jordan is a Brooklyn-based blues guitarist who’s been playing music most of his life, performing regularly in bars, jams, and community spaces across the city

Solution

  • Ran a series of interviews with Jordan to understand who he is an person and an artist.
  • Mocked up several designs and presented them to Jordan for early feedback.
  • Created a cohesive set of visuals for Jordan's weekly gigs.

Problem

  • Jordan had contracted a creative agency before to help build his social media presence but the designs felt all wrong and did not capture his style or sound.

Impact

  • Jordan was so pleased with the flyers that he requested another project, a website, which is currently in progress!
  • Jordan's fans and friends praised the look and feel of his new posts and flyers and he has more regulars at his shows.
