Hi, I’m Shaswot, a UI/UX designer focused on user-centered design, usability, and intuitive digital experiences.

I was born and raised in Kathmandu, a vibrant, culturally rich city shaped by ancient temples and a deep tradition of art, architecture, and design.

Growing up, I was a shy and timid but loquacious kid; nothing has changed. I just wanted to put it out there. I rarely write or talk about myself, but I am somebody who is filled with curiosity and eagerness to learn about things I am passionate about, and I am passionate about everything. However, I have always been profoundly grounded by something, my one true love, MUSIC.

My Approach

My approach to design is inherently human. I begin by placing myself in the user’s position and honestly asking how the experience feels—whether the interface is clear, intuitive, and comfortable to move through. I imagine real moments of use, not ideal scenarios, and pay close attention to what might confuse, slow down, or frustrate someone.

I believe good design should feel effortless. If a user has to stop and think too much about what to do next, something is missing. Clarity, simplicity, and ease of use guide my decisions, from layout and hierarchy to interactions and flow. When an interface feels natural and unobtrusive, allowing people to focus on what they came to do, I consider the design successful.
